Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy Adds Jonathan S. Doctor and John Neamonitis to Board of Directors

STAMFORD, Conn., [June 16, 2026] — Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy (ACGT) is proud to welcomes Jonathan S. Doctor, MBA, MPH, of Ambler Brook, and John Neamonitis, of Lakehouse Ventures, to the foundation’s Board of Directors. Together, they bring deep experience in healthcare operations, investment, and entrepreneurship in support of ACGT’s mission and long-term vision.

“Across my career, I have worked to build healthcare organizations that turn promising ideas into real impact for patients, which is exactly what ACGT does every day,” said Mr. Doctor. “I am honored to join its Board, and I hope to contribute to the operational and financial discipline that helps a mission like this one endure and grow.”

Jonathan S. Doctor is an Executive Partner at Ambler Brook, a thesis-oriented investment firm focused on founder-owned healthcare and B2B services and technology businesses in the lower middle market. He brings more than 30 years of experience across health services, practice management, and healthcare technology, spanning operational leadership, company building, and private equity advisory roles.

Mr. Doctor most recently served as President of the Center for Social Dynamics (CSD), one of the largest providers of applied behavior analysis for autism services in the western United States, which was eventually acquired by Goldman Sachs Alternatives. He has also advised the private equity firms Gryphon Investors and Zenyth Partners, as well as GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, a global provider of revenue cycle and health information management services that was acquired by the Swedish investment firm EQT. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Operations and Financial Officer of The Angeles Clinic and Research Institute, and as Chairman, CEO, and President of PracticeXpert Inc.

Mr. Doctor earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MPH from the Yale University School of Medicine, and an MBA from the USC Graduate School of Business, and is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy.

John Neamonitis is the founder and General Partner of Lakehouse Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York City, where he backs efforts focused on enhancing the everyday products, services, and software people rely on. Mr. Neamonitis’ path to venture investing ran through roughly a decade in finance: after entering the industry in 2002, he worked in investment banking and portfolio management at Brown Brothers Harriman, Credit Suisse, GoldenTree Asset Management, and AllianceBernstein. In 2014, he co-founded WorkOf, an online marketplace that connects buyers with independent furniture and lighting designers, one of the largest in the United States. Mr. Neomonitis earned a degree in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business in 2002.
