Donor-advised funds.

“I believe cell and gene therapies will evolve into a standard of care. We have a lot to learn and it may take years, but we’re moving in the right direction.”

Maximize your charitable tax deductions.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a simple, flexible and tax-efficient way to give more to your favorite charities. DAFs are investment accounts established by individuals to benefit causes they care about (IRS-qualified public charities).

A DAF can be set up with most brokerages. You can donate cash, securities or other assets to your DAF (the exact list of assets eligible for donation depends on your brokerage). Your gifts typically are fully tax deductible. After you have contributed to your DAF, you can make contributions directly from your account while the balance is allowed to appreciate tax-free.

There are hundreds of DAF options in the market today. For example, Fidelity Charitable,  Jewish Communal Fund andJP Morgan Private Bank. Talk with your broker to learn more about the benefits you could receive. Find a DAF that’s right for you and check to ensure it allows contributions to Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy.

To designate Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy as one of your ongoing beneficiaries, our tax ID number is 06-1619523.
